March Goals – Let’s Do it!

Happy March everyone! I plan to do a few different things this month that i am excited about. I have decided not to put all my eggs in one basket, as i have in the past.

[[ March Goals ]]

Freelance Goals
Make at least $100 worth of profit from writing jobs // there are a few different avenues i’d like to try this month.

Read a freelance business book // I am still learning a lot about freelancing so i want to know all i can.

Blogging Goals:
Two posts per week // I like posting twice a week because it gives me time to concentrate on the posts interactions.

3,650 Twitter followers // Twitter is so much fun and i love interacting with other bloggers and brands.

950 Instagram followers // Instagram is my new favorite social media platform. The pictures are so much fun to see!

Personal Goals:
Create items for the upcoming Etsy shop // i have decided to get the creative juices flowing again. I love using different elements in creating.

Start a gratitude journal // i think this would be a great idea to help with my high anxiety.

Read more // I would like to finish the fictional book i am reading and start reading a book or two about freelance and business practices.

February was a fast month for me, i can’t believe how fast it strolled by. I slacked a little on the goals for last month because i was sick and for whatever reason anxiety decided rule my month. Always fun, right?

Let’s just see how i did on those goals for last month.

[[ February Goal Update ]]

Freelance Goals:
Make at least $100 worth of profit this month // I managed to make $1,200 last month in Freelance writing. I got extremely lucky because it was all from one client.

Blogging Goals:
New posts to go up at least twice a week // I did good on this goal too, i am going to keep it up.

Personal Goals:
Walk at least 10 miles a week // I bombed this one horribly. Somehow i tore the tissue slightly under my kneecap. KT tape was my friend this month as i waddled around.

Eating better // I made a tiny effort but i don’t think i can say i did because i am sure eating spoonfuls of vanilla frosting with rainbow chips isn’t on any healthy plan.

Read // Yeah, i don’t know where the month went in such a hurry. I got through half a book though.

  27. I LOVE my gratitude journal! Also I have found doing meditation before bed helps with my anxiety (I usually get anxious when I am falling asleep or wake up in the middle of the night) I have been using the simple habit app since they have free nighttime meditations that are only 5 or 10 minutes πŸ™‚

  31. Great goals! I’m thrilled you did so well last month freelance writing. It’s something I’d like to get into (I have a degree in journalism, though I’m a L&D RN now…). My goals for this month are posting three times a week on the blog, writing a few more weeks of my e-course content and playing in my photo studio!

  32. Love the goals! Especially the gratitude journal. I have one and I love using it. Helps me be a happier person.

Congratulations on hitting your freelance goals too, that can be a rough one!

  40. You totally killed your freelance writing goal — way to go! Yikes about tearing a muscle, I hope that it is feeling better. I did something strange to the muscle right above my ankle bone and have been having to take it easy (which is easier said than done). Good luck on your March goals, you will do great!

  41. I do my goal setting in a bullet journal, never thought of putting it on the blog before. You have amazing social media figures that make mine seem silly! Have you set up an etsy shop before? I’m thinking about doing it… thanks

    1. I had another blog for a year before this one, i love social media lol. I had an Etsy shop forever ago before it was a really popular site. May i should put my goals in a bullet journal too, so i can see them everyday.
